Droidery Challenge Participants during Google I/O '17 Extended EKSU
Google I/O ‘17 Extended Ekiti State University was organized with a singular objective; to provide developers in Ekiti State University with the unique feel of Google I/O by including amazing features and in-depth sessions focused on building web, mobile, and enterprise applications with Google technologies such as Machine Learning, Android, Firebase, TensorFlow, Google Assistant, Google AI SDK, Kotlin, etc, coupled with the Google I/O ‘17 viewing sessions. The objective of this event was to expose members of GDG Ekiti State University to the new developer tools and technologies and provide exciting ways and insights to using them. Also, there was a Droidery Challenge, where participants were expected to build a ‘Single-Activity’ Android app, that solves a problem. These apps were to be showcased and judged during the event. The result of this challenge was a tie between Andela's ALCEkiti beginners, Adebayo Pelumi and Ayobami Ogunlade. Adeba
