Our DevFest which took place on Friday 28th November, 2014.
















































The event started with Keynote by Eric Bidelman and welcome address which was anchored by one of the GDG EKSU (Ekiti State University) Inner Circle - Miss Yemisi Obielodan; followed by the "ABOUT GDG/ GDG Opportunities" session anchored by myself.
The next session was on Transformations in HTML5 to Web Components by Adedokun Yinka Enoch (Member, GDG EKSU Inner Circle); followed by a Panel Session on Polymer Basics anchored by Sarah Egwu (Member, GDG EKSU Inner Circle)  and I, where we lead participants through the speaker deck by +Rob Dodson.
After these sessions was the first Tutorial Code-lab by Arowosegbe Ifeoluwa (A technical member GDG EKSU Inner Circle) which lasted for 1 hour 30 minutes. Participants where lead through creating their first project using polymer.
After this session was a Demo session anchored by +Ajepe Tobi (Member, GDG EKSU Inner Circle)       who lead participants through sample projects like Topeka and other demo sessions on Android was done in order to encourage developers to be agents of technological change. 
Finally, the event was brought to a close after an exciting Maps Code-lab session anchored by +Oshio Samuel (Member, GDG EKSU Inner Circle), with a brief Android 5.0 celebration by sharing Lollipop to all participants and Finally a photo session.
Highlights of Success:

We planned for just 50 participants, we had a population explosion as 101 individuals registered for the event out of which 11 ladies/ females where in attendance; 65 participants stayed till the end of the event, 5 ladies
